Battistotti's Trentino Marzemino DOC, obtained from carefully selected grapes which, after crushing-destemming, are subjected to maceration for about a week in order to extract the color and fragrance that characterize the product from the skins, is a wine of great balance. , with delicate aromas and a straightforward and genuine sip. Very pleasant.

Ruby red tending to purplish. The nose is expressed with hints of blackberry and raspberry and notes of violet. On the palate it has a good body, velvety and persistent.

Excellent in combination with polenta with mushrooms, roast pork with vegetables and braised veal, it also goes well with chicken on the spit.

Fruity and round, Ciliegiolo Maremma Toscana Doc Capoccia has the perfect easy going character that makes an ordinary meal special.

Maremma Toscana Doc Capoccia is a luminous ruby red. On the nose it bestows pleasant fruity scents of cherries and fruits of the forest together with flowery hints. On the palate it is dry, fruity, enjoyable and rightly balanced with elegant tannins and a long fruity finish.

ARMACIA

The Armacia is the typical dry stone wall that forms the terraces of the Costa Viola where for centuries “heroic viticulture” has been practiced on steep slopes that contribute to safeguarding the territory. Native vines such as Prunesta, Malvasia Nera, Nerello and Gaglioppo are cultivated with effort and love by small producers gathered in the Enopolis Costa Viola Cooperative, with a maximum yield: 60q/Ha. Armacia, the wine of the Costa Viola terraces, is one of the Italian Extreme Wines certified by CERVIM.

It goes well with every meal but is ideal for tasting ricotta and fresh cheeses.

Twelve months of ageing in small barrels for a fine and elegant Morellino di Scansano Docg Riserva Roggiano. 

Morellino di Scansano Docg Roggiano Riserva is a concentrated ruby red, on the nose it is characterised by an elegant, complex and varied bouquet of dark fruits, flowers, spices and underwood. On the palate it is sleek, fine, balanced. Warm, fresh and rightly sapid, it shows round tannins and a nice softness. Lenghty and fine finish.

Aging: in French oak barriques of 225 l capacity for 12 months. Short stay in stainless steel tanks.

TASTING NOTES

Upon visual examination it presents itself with a changing color between ruby ​​and purple. The nose is fresh and intense, characterized by the typical vinous hints accompanied by more fruity sensations of blackberry and plum. In the mouth it has a good structure, lively and slender, with an excellent balance.

PAIRINGS

It is a versatile wine, suitable for everyday cooking. It goes well with both first and second courses of the most diverse preparations. 

Oltrepò Pavese and Pinot Nero, a special bond.

From the vinification of Pinot Noir grapes comes Moretto, a bright red wine. The bouquet is elegant, intense, fragrant, with spicy and black currant notes. Well balanced, soft and persistent Pinot Noir.

It is recommended with meat dishes and aged cheeses. Excellent as an aperitif.

This Chianti is produced following the principles of biodynamic agriculture; completed the vinification, it ages in cement and, after a short rest in the bottle, it is released for marketing. The wine expresses the typical character of Sangiovese, plum, violet and cherry. Ruby red color.

Excellent with first courses with meat sauces, or with grilled red meats

The Baroni Di Pianogrillo Nero D'Avola Sicilia Doc wine is produced by Baroni di Pianogrillo in Sicily, has an alcohol content of 13% and pairs well with cured meats, first courses, meat, cheeses. It is recommended to serve at 16 °C

"Montalto" by Pierfrancesco Gatto is a Grignolino D'Asti DOC from grapes selected from the Refrancore vineyard. It is a particular vine, widespread above all on the Asti and Casalese hills, with a very inconstant productivity. After the harvest, the grapes mature in steel and refine for 1 month in the bottle, before being marketed.

 The nose shows pleasant and delicate floral and fruity notes, with memories of cherries and roses, followed by spicy hints, characterized by a sip of good freshness.

It goes well with first and second courses of the land cuisine, in particular with the typical Piedmontese cuisine. Also excellent to accompany mixed starters.

Magdalener Classico from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine region presents itself in the glass with a bright purple red. In the glass, this red wine from Petruskellerei reveals aromas of plum, redcurrant, black cherry and blackberry, rounded off by almond. Magdalener Classico has a pleasantly dry taste. It was bottled with an exceptionally low residual sugar.

With its ruby red color, Contesa dei Venti 2020 shows a fragrant bouquet with notes of red fruits (plum and cherry) and flowers, such as lavender and violet, together with balsamic hints (juniper) and sweet spices (white pepper). On the palate it is fresh and harmonious, with a pleasant return of fruity notes and a gentle and enveloping and soft tannin; its ending is soft and persistent.

Pairings: Perfect to sip from a glass, it accompanies grilled meats and vegetables, charcuterie, and tasty fish dishes such as soups. Also excellent with tuna sushi. Serve in medium-size glasses, it can be uncorked at time of serving, excellent at 15-16°C (59-61°F).

The wine is produced in one of the most evocative wine-growing areas in Italy and in the world: the Langhe. The cuvée is composed only of Nebbiolo grapes, the princes grapes of the Piedmont area. After careful harvesting and selection of the grapes, on vines with an average age of 40 years at 350 meters above sea level, in clayey soils with sandy marls, they are macerated and fermented for 10 to 15 days in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine is aged for 4 months in steel barrels, and after bottling, it rests in the bottle for a period of 6 months.

It has an intense ruby ​​red with violet reflections. Very fruity, delicate bouquet with an unmistakable hint of violet. In the mouth it is dry, harmonious and pleasantly bitter. Structured and elegant due to its right acid balance, it is a ready-to-drink wine. Being a versatile wine it is recommended to combine with any meal.

Intense ruby color with bright purple reflections; Floramundi 2020 offers intense fruity aromas, among which the notes of cherries and blackberries stand out; the bouquet opens with delicate balsamic nuances of laurel and characteristic spicy notes of black pepper. The tasting is supported by freshness and smoothness that make it juicy and very pleasant to drink. The tannins are refined and well-integrated. Floramundi 2020 expresses the harmonious balance that Cerasuolo di Vittoria can aspire to.

Pairings: Perfect to sip from a glass, it pairs with tasty first courses and grilled meat; try with pulled pork and meat dumplings. Excellent at 15-16°C: an unusual red, also perfect with red tuna steak, amberjack or important fish baked in the oven. Serve in large glasses.

Merlot la Frassina is an intense ruby ​​red color with purple reflections, vinous on the nose with a strong hint of currant and ripe red fruit. Harmonious and balanced flavor, with the right body, and good persistence.

Gattinara Travaglini is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes grown near the town of Gattinara.

With a ruby red color with violet reflections, Bell’Assai 2021 radiates intense floral notes of freesia and lavender followed by fruity aromas of strawberry and cherry. 

On the palate it is fresh and fragrant with a soft tannin and a pleasant return of fruity notes.

Pairings: Perfect to sip from a glass, it accompanies grilled vegetables, salumi and tasty fish dishes such as soups.
